The Resources Available
Dr Aelred C. Fonder, DDS, 1916-2003, was a forerunner in the TMJ field. His teaching and knowledge of the Dental Distress Syndrome, as it relates to the overall health, was considered by many to be way ahead of his time. His teachings were foundational and still relevant today.
Fortunately, he left us with his classic 'The Dental Physician' text book, the Dental Distress Syndrome paperback, a five part DVD video lecture series and Basal Facts articles. These resources are being made available through this site.

We have an ample supply of the 1985 revised edition of The Dental Physician text book and the 1993 revised The Dental Distress Syndrome paperback has just been reprinted. The 1981 DVD series is now available, also.

1981 DVD Lecture Series is Available
In 1981 Dr Fonder recorded a five part TMJ lecture series on VHS tape. We recently converted them to DVD. They have not been digitally remastered, so some parts are a little dark, however, we would rate them as good and still viewable. They are very interesting and informative.
